Glass Single or Double-glazed Doors?

Glass single and double-glazed doors are available, with different levels of acoustic performance depending on your priorities and budget.
Double-glazed doors can provide an acoustic rating of up to 46dB.

Available ironmongery for glazed doors with the following options:

• Lever locking handles with euro cylinder thumb turn
• Back to back pull handles
• Doorstop
• Door closers
• Top and Pivots or side hung hinges
• Manet handles and other specialist ironmongery options are also available as an additional extra.

Frameless style glazed doors offer a clean and minimal look, however, they can be sacrificial in terms of acoustics as this type of door does not have a door frame leaving a gap around the full perimeter of the door.

Timber veneered doors

Timber veneered doors are an attractive alternative to glass, with a wood finish working well with the aesthetic of glass. Frames can be aluminium, MDF or solid wood, all of which work well with glass partitions.
